Dr. Trapani has served as Consultant/Staff Physician in the Division of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the University of Texas Health Science Center/Memorial Hermann, Houston, Texas. He was also Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology, Division of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. His administrative appointments include Medical Director at the Digestive Disease Center, Memorial Hermann Hospital, Houston; Medical Director: Offsite Anesthesia/ G.I. Endoscopy, University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston; Medical Director: Surgical Intensive Care Unit, University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Trapani received his Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree at Boston College and Doctor of Medicine at the University of Rome Medical School in Italy. He completed his residency in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at University Hospital in Syracuse, New York. He also completed his Critical Care Medicine Fellowship in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine from University Hospital in Syracuse, New York and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pennsylvania.
