Angela Miller: Veritas Health Care Director

Angela currently serves as System Liaison to Executive Leadership for the Patient Experience at Geisinger Health System. She is also a Content Matter Expert and Education Site Surveyor as well as a member of the Health Sciences School of Nursing for the University of Phoenix. Angela received her MBA with a Specialization in Leadership/Healthcare System Improvement from Walden University and her Associates Degree in Surgical Technology, Magna cum Laude, from McCann School of Business and Technology, and is a Six Sigma Black Belt. Angela is a member of several professional organizations. She also serves on the committees for Bioethics, APDIM PA Program Planning Committee, and the Leadership Susquehanna Valley Program.

Angela’s accomplishments include assisting in the opening of the Holy Spirit Pulmonary Clinic in May 2016, assisting as a Leadership Liaison for the 2015, 2016 and 2017 Leadership Susquehanna Valley classes. These classes successfully completed a project for the Milton Public Library and the Pennsylvania Court Appointed Special Advocates (PA CASA - https://youtu.be/TSg-V5jghV4). Angela co-authored the Pulmonary/Critical Care and Clinical Informatics Fellowship PIF applications. She holds a TAGME certification in Pulmonary/Critical Medicine and has completed the Telemedicine Training Program. Angela is also a graduate of the Leadership Susquehanna Valley Program and Co-Chair of the Annual Critical Care Symposium and assisted in the development and planning of the Critical Care Ultrasound Training. Angela’s current research includes a blind study regarding outreach and implementation among United States eICU’s, a Doctoral study- Retention of key personnel in the Corporate Setting and mobility in the ICU population.
