Amanda Itzkoff, MD

Dr. Amanda Itzkoff is in private practice providing the most modern applications of Psychotherapy and Pharmacology treatment to adults and young adults suffering from mood and anxiety disorders, including OCD, eating disorders, substance use disorders, ADD/HD, and psychotic disorders. She received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University where she was co-valedictorian of her college class. She received her MD from NYU School of Medicine and completed her Psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, also in New York City.

Dr. Itzkoff completed fellowship training and went on to become Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Mount Sinai School of Medicine where she currently serves. She is the recipient of the Patient’s Choice Award (2008-2012) and the Patients’ Choice 5th Anniversary Award (2012), as well as the Most Compassionate Doctor Award and Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2010-2012). Dr. Itzkoff’s hobbies and extracurricular interests include running, piano, writing, and collecting vintage eyeglasses. She is also fluent in French, a supporter of the New York Public Library and serves on the New Directions Committee.
